40 Hours of Brussels

t the Beginning of September Marc suddenly had the idea to go to the
Brussels Street Photography Festival (BSPF). We made a quick google
search and knew very fast that we would be going there. A few days later
we had booked our rooms in Hotel BLOOM, the same hotel the award cer-
Aemony would take place. After booking our train tickets as well and tak-
ing vacation days from work the trip to Brussels and my first photography festival
was set. The anticipation for the festival was growing each day and like everything
in life, time was flying.

Friday the 28th of October 2016 time had finally come. I was about 40 minutes
before departure to Brussels at the Cologne central station; Marc arrived shortly
after me, and you could literally see his joy of going to this event on his face. Bevor
getting on the train we had a little breakfast.

The Thalys was on time. We had barely started to discuss what we would expect at
the Brussels Street Photography Festival and what we would like to include in this
